Let me preface this by saying our salesperson TJ is in the right profession and Gillman Honda has a gem on their hands. Things I hate about going to a car dealership: - Insincerity - Lack of a sense of urgency - A sense that I’m being deceived - The back and forth of negotiation that only moves in slow increments and comes with long waits - Inconsideration of requests - Bad customer service - A lack of professionalism I’m so glad our path crossed with TJ today, because he shut those stigmas down. TJ was confident, professional, kind, and reassuring. He established a great rapport with us from the beginning. He said to make ourselves comfortable in their comfortable lobby chairs and everything was straightforward after that; no need for a stuffy cubicle set-up. Negotiations were minimal bc he skipped trying to make himself happy and went straight to the best price and best deal to keep us happy. He didn’t beat around the bush. He gave me a very fair offer for my trade. Although I couldn’t get the exterior color I wanted, he didn’t let that deter my interest and, as someone who has been in customer service for decades, I was impressed to see that he nixed “what we can’t do” and presented “what we do have that still checks your other boxes”. I have an awesome vehicle! Everyone I encountered at the dealership very nice and not pushy at all. We were in and out in 3.5 hours and it didn’t even feel that long. Thank you, Gillman, for welcoming us to the “Family”. Please anyone, if you go, ask for TJ, and tell him his customer Carla H. sent you!!
