Feedback on Maple Leaf Storage, Park Royal North Vancouver I am very pleased to provide positive feedback on my experience with Maple Leaf Storage on North Vancouver, Park Royal. I am sure there are storage stories that could fill volumes. My story began in Ottawa after the sale of my home on my journey West to begin a new life in British Columbia on the birth of my first grandson. The trajectory was not a straight line. In 2015, I had filled a large POD in Ottawa and there it stood without my being able to downsize my belongings. There was an emotional block for sure. In November 17, 2018 the POD was moved to Maple Leaf Storage West Vancouver. Chris Wasney the store manager, was amazing on explaining where the POD could be dropped off and making sure that my son and I had enough time in the space to unload. I thought this would be a huge problem but Chris accommodated us. My son was equally emotional seeing his childhood and past life in bins and the gigantic task ahead to go through sorting out what stays and what goes. My grandsons have my sons Legos one of the many treasures packed away and are now Lego obsessed. Treasures were brought out for them over the years and often asked if there are more toys in the locker. After the sale of my home there was enough time to organize. I appreciated connecting with Chris and the staff on these visits. It took away the angst. He understood having seeing all manners of situations. The onsite support was very important. Then came COVID-19 and time to tackle the bins. No excuses. It was dramatic to give notice as there was a sense of security having this space tied to my past. Again, Chris made it easier saying that I could downsize to s smaller space if I don’t get everything out by the deadline. It made it easier. But it was time and I was able to finally go through over 60 years of memories and integrate them into my new life as well as letting go what was not needed to move forward. As to the Maple Leaf Storage facility – it is clean and in particular the washrooms that I appreciated on long visits, the hours to access where very reasonable, you can purchase extra boxes etc. on site, it is conveniently located in the neighbourhood making even short visits doable as well as for arranging pick-ups of items that needed to move on, parking was never an issue, there were a variety of trollies for all sorts of moves in and out, the entry was secure and elevators were spacious for larger items. Thank you, Chris and all the staff, for helping me though this life transition. Janice #3098! Yep, remember it!

Facility is clean and well managed. Excellent, clean lockers and parking stalls also clean, including the dolly's and equipment to move things on.
