My husband is a General Contractor and built the last 3 houses we lived in. When we purchased our property in 2003, we decided to get a Palm Harbor home to put on our land so we could live in a home while we built a new house here in Florida. We were incredibly busy for the first year or two and had not started to build our new house. After 2 years, our architect called to follow up on our house plans, I looked at my husband and said, do we really want to build a new house? We both really loved it, so we never built our new home and have been extremely happy in our Palm Harbor home for the last 16 years!
