I would not recommend. I am honestly shocked the unprofessionalism of the owner of this salon. I am very disappointed because I had a poor experience on my wedding day with my wedding party hair and makeup. I did a lot of research to decide where to get my wedding hair and makeup done, and this place seemed good online and on Instagram, and my hair trial went well, so I decided to book them for services for myself and my bridal party. My hair stylist Fausto and my makeup artist (I think her name was Christina) were both exceptional and did a great job. However, my poor experience was with the owner/manager, Poli. The front desk staff seemed to be a bit confused and had a mixup the day of our appointment, leading to me having to essentially argue with the front desk associate to have someone do my bridesmaid’s hair on time (as we had an appointment for.) They kept taking other people before her even though we had an earlier appointment and I had specifically mentioned to Poli on multiple occasions that we all needed to be done by 12 noon and she assured me multiple times that we would be, but they clearly were not coordinated. They ended up doing my bridesmaid’s hair right on time, and at the end of the appointment when we were all finished, I went up to the desk to pay the remainder of my bill, the receptionist apologized and told me that they had taken care of the remaining balance of the bill for my hair and makeup services because of the inconvenience and that they had given an additional discount to another person in my wedding party. I thanked them and we went on our way, and I was satisfied with my hair and makeup, so I forgot about it. TWO DAYS after my appointment, I got a text message from the owner Poli asking me to “give her a call.” I was at work and didn’t see the message right away, so she then proceeded to call me and she asked me to COME BACK TO THE SALON TO PAY FOR THE REMAINDER OF MY BILL because according to her, her receptionist had “made a mistake” in taking care of the rest of my bill and that they had also made a mistake in giving my mom a discount on her bill as well. She insisted that I go back that day and pay, and I kindly informed her that no, I would not be returning because her employees chose to make the offer to take care of the bill, that I never demanded to not pay my bill, and that it was 100% her problem that she can’t coordinate her people or keep her word, especially when I trusted her and her salon on the most important day of my life. She sounded disappointed and said “I guess it will just have to be on us then” and I told her that yes it will have to be “on them” as her receptionist offered. I gave them a lot of business and they made a pretty penny off of me and my bridal party. I was absolutely shocked that she would call a customer back two days after their wedding to ask for money when her associates took the initiative to give a discount and took care of the rest of the bill... I was very much prepared to pay what I owed despite the issues but I did appreciate that they compensated for my trouble. I was willing to let the issue with the late hair styling go because the stylists were very good, but now after that very, very awkward and strange phone call, I will absolutely never return to this salon. I work in the service industry and I would never EVER call back a guest to pay for something, especially if my own employees gave the guest something for free or at a discount due to a poor experience. I have absolutely no idea how she was not embarrassed to call me back and ask me that. Very strange, awkward and poor experience with that owner. I do not recommend.
