I am not usually one to leave reviews but felt compelled to give one as my first experience with Faith exceeded my expectations. From calling to and making my first appointment, arriving to the salon being greeted by the front desk staff and in between, everyone was attentive, friendly and welcoming. I was referred specifically to Faith by a work colleague/friend who’s recommendations I highly respect, yet I was fearful in going anywhere to get my haircut as a cancer survivor who had lost all my hair due to treatments. Those who have unfortunately also experienced this understands just how personal and nerve wracking it is once your hair starts growing back in unconventional ways, to get that “first” cut. I had not visited a salon since pre-Covid and was 1 year out from my new hair growth. Faith is phenomenal. She understood the process, was patient, empathetic and warm, and made sure I was comfortable. She told me this was a journey we were in together and explained how it was all going to come together to get my hair back to how I wanted it. She showed me how to style my short hair in the meanwhile until it grows longer. I left that day feeling like ‘ME’ again. Cancer survivor or not, if you are someone who wants to experience genuine kindness, honesty and education from a highly experienced artist who knows what they are doing and does it exceptionally well, I highly recommend Faith at Moxie Salon. (I’d like to add that it has now been 2 years since that first visit and my hair has grown exceptionally fast and healthy!! It’s still a journey to get it to where it was but Faith has been supportive every step of the way and never books my next appt until she feels my hair is ready. She never pushes any services or products on me and only recommends what she knows is truly beneficial for my specific goals and hair type. Not the case I’ve experienced elsewhere. That’s why I trust her. Faith -I’m sorry for the long review but can’t say enough amazing things about you. I know if you were able to give me back my confidence, you can do the same for others who may need it. I’d follow you anywhere! Xoxo.
