Moxie - Ridgewood

My kids and I started frequenting Moxie in Ridgewood after their recent change in ownership. The new owner, Sally, is literally THE kindest person you will ever meet. She is super approachable and happy to assist you with any questions you might have about the salon or services they offer. She will also book your appointment for you if you need. My first time there was for a blowout - Anthony did a wonderful job. I was worried about parking but there is a lot right behind the salon! There is even an entrance from the parking lot so no need to walk around to the front. I enjoyed my experience so much that I reached out to Sally to see if we could set up a fundraiser for my kids’ school! I will go out of my way to support a small business that gives back to the community. The week of the fundraiser, my daughter and her friends got tinsel/fairy hair done. The tinsel lasted a long time and looked really pretty. We have gotten it done elsewhere in the past, but we definitely preferred the way it looked this time around. My 5 year old son got a haircut with Anthony - Anthony was amazing with him. He kept my son engaged and his haircut was over before he knew it. When Anthony was styling my son’s hair, my son randomly said he wanted a mohawk (this was not discussed lol) so Anthony kindly styled it that way for him and my son was thrilled. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Moxie in Ridgewood! Highly recommend and I plan to be back soon!
