Braden River Rehabilitation Center

All of the administrators are good, but the aides and lower staff are not. Most nurses were ok. No handbook or explanation of what to expect is given to patients. One night the heat was turned off and it was one of the coldest nights of the year. Patients were freezing and this certainly didn't comply with FL law for facilities. Garbage was emptied at 5am one night/morning and the aide crashed a walker. Socks were not found for 4 days. Kleenex was not available. Lotion was not found. It seems the staff is working with a deficit of direction. Food was mostly cold, not warm, but cold. Breakfast was awful with cold eggs. There should be an internal investigation into what works and what does not. Staff should wear readable name tags. I would have liked to give a more positive review but cannot after my experience.
