MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE AT THIS FACILITY. My dad made it out alive because a nurse had a conscious and did the right thing...sent my dad to Dr. Phillips ER. The ER nurses released 3000 cc of fluid from his bladder at arrival. Then another 2000 cc within the same hour. He was in severe pain, disillusional and had lost the abilty to walk. Dr. Britton, I'm not sure where your heart is BUT it's not in patient care. "The Board" that discusses a plan for admitted loved ones at MetroWest...your plan to collect my dad's 3rd tier insurance with minimal care failed. I saw through each one of you at our meeting. I pray that Chris Dawkins Social Svcs, Ortishia PT, Alex PT, Princess LPN, Nurse Z RN & Tequilla (Ta-qwee-la) CNA find jobs in this field where they don't have to quietly speak up OR look the other way regarding the unprofessional & non concerning care at MetroWest. I was in the facility everyday to check on my dad after his hip replacement, bladder concerns & early onset dementia. I asked questions about sedative meds, I questioned generic antibiotics, I took pictures of unsafe situations, I quietly brought cleaning supplies for unsanitary living conditions & I attended activities with my dad. I also witnessed the treatment of my dad's roommates who unfortunately did not make it. Dr. Britton did not like me asking questions. His harsh tone & negative comments were offensive & quite revealing. ONCE MY DAD LEFT IN AN AMBULANCE (7/24)TO DR. PHILLIPS HOSPITAL WHERE 3000 cc (plus another 2000 cc) of urine was released from his bladder, WHERE HE RECEIVED A BACTERIA SPECIFIC antibiotic & WHERE HE RECEIVED blood for his blood deficiency he thrived and continues to do so 4 months later. It's taken me nearly 5 months to write this review as to not act on emotions but sound processing & thought. MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE AT THIS FACILITY.
