I know there are other options available, that work to repair torn tendons, other than surgery. I feel like those are not even being discussed, for whatever reason(even though I have asked about other procedures), be it workman's comp. not covering other options or that the Dr. doesn't make enough money to even consider other options, such as Stem Cell Therapy or PRP. The last Orthopedic Surgeon as well as my primary care doctor both said,"Do not have a surgery! PRP or Stem cell therapy, can work". They are both much younger doctors that may be more versed on new techniques.other than cutting me open. I really like Dr. Shakle, I just wish he would be open to discussing other options.........while there are other options.
