My streak of excellent customer service experiences at CPR in Round Rock continued today. I've had multiple iPhone screens replaced there and one liquid damage recovery. Every time I've been very pleased. No difference today. I went in expecting to replace my iPhone's data port at a cost of $65. That's cheaper than a new phone, so I would have been happy to pay it. Instead, they took my phone in back to see if the port might just be dirty. I heard some tapping, then some more tapping and soon my phone was brought back to me. Just dirty, I was told. When asked how much I owed, I was told by the nice lady to just keep them in mind next time I needed a repair. I could count on a shop teacher's hand the number of times I've had similar experiences. Next time I need a repair, I'll be back for sure. And I've been sharing the experience with friends, so hopefully they'll go to CPR as well.
