The way contracts are managed and their apparent ties with shady moving companies suggest a larger pattern of questionable practices. Whether the head office is unaware or just choosing not to act is anyone’s guess, but either way, it’s a problem. If you’ve experienced similar treatment, I strongly encourage you to report it to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or other relevant authorities. As a paying customer, you have every right to be concerned about your property and how you’re treated. Companies like this don’t deserve your business. If you’re still shopping for a storage facility, I’d recommend checking out Nationwide Storage instead. They’re respectful, professional, and most importantly, welcoming to people from all backgrounds. The contrast is clear: Maple Leaf Storage does not reflect any meaningful cultural diversity. The staff are overwhelmingly white, and that lack of representation is felt in how non-Caucasian customers are treated. If you’re doing your homework, start with the negative reviews. Many of the glowing ones seem questionable and don’t align with what actual customers are saying.
