Our service rep, Jake Anderson, was excellent and kept us informed about the status of our vehicle maintenance service. Also, the remodel of the customer waiting area is very nice!

Lee Toyota has been my place for getting the vehicle we want. They have a great sales staff and service staff. Mike, Will, and Curtis are very easy to work with and go out their way to accommodate your schedule to make sure you go home with your vehicle.

Bought a 2022 Toyota Highlander limited new in April of 22 had 34 miles on it. All service has been done and at 69000 miles the transmission failed. Come to find out it’s not just my vehicle but thousands of highlanders. The dealership knew this was an on going issue because of multiple service bulletins issued by Toyota. Toyota covered the full cost of repair for the 18-19 years, yet they said nothing to us when we purchased this vehicle. Now we’re stuck with a $9703 repair bill that Toyota North America is only going to help with 25%. AGAIN 69000 miles. Lee and Toyota do not stand behind their products. Do your own research before buying don’t trust that Lee has any integrity because they don’t. So update: Lee suggests you buy an “extended warranty” so basically Toyota builds cars to last just outside the manufacturer warranty.

I was in the market for a new truck and salesman Virgil was extremely helpful and very willing to help me determine what kind of payment it made sense for me to get into. Even though the trucks he had were out of my price range his calm demeanor and swift number crunching gave me the piece of mind needed to go elsewhere that had a truck in my price range and was as they say the trucks for me. I showed him the truck after purchasing it and he congratulated me which is not common for a car salesman unless they sold you the car. So thank you Virgil! Furthermore, I have dealt with multiple members of the Service and Parts departments on a few occasions now and they have also promptly offered recommendations, advice and were both exceedingly helpful and friendly. Lee Toyota seems to be the place to go from top to bottom, especially if you’re a Toyota owner!

Hello. I recently purchased a new truck from your dealership. I had the truck undercoated on 9/23/25. Later that day, I parked my truck, as usual, in my garage. Unfortunately, the undercoating dripped onto my garage floor in many places. I didn't realize that there was a cure time. It would have been helpful if the service person had advised me to park other than in my garage for a week after undercoating. I have a gravel driveway and this would have been optimal. Also, my 4 year old granddaughter climbed into the truck and somehow got the undercoating material on her dress, and I also got the black stuff on one of my shopping bags. This is not the end of the world. It's not Gaza. It's just avoidable -- "The undercoating will drip until it's cured, so park where that is least likely to bother you. Avoid touching the edge of the truck for a week until the undercoating cures." I appreciate the opportunity to share feedback.

I had a great experience with Evan F. He was professional, communicative and all around pleasant to work with. I did not have the same experience with Finance Manager Caleb G. Caleb had the incorrect rate from my lender and only let me know it was incorrect once everything wa signed and I was my new vehicle. I would normally consider this a small error with little consequence if not for his lack of communication afterward. Three seperate times post sale I tried to reach out to Caleb for assistance via email and never got one reply back. His lack of communication affected my experience as a whole and was a bit insulting from my perspective considering a purchase of this size. I did not feel like Caleb valued my business once he had processed my sale. I would recommend anyone to work with Evan F and I would not give the same recommendation for Caleb G.

My experience with personnel was a positive one, however my experience with the buying process was not. 1) assumptions were made that I was familiar with the buying process in Maine which was incorrect. 2) as a result of the assumption at no point was it mentioned until delivery day that the insurance change and registration was the responsibility of the consumer in Maine, 3) also as a result of that assumption at no point was the “excise tax” responsibility mentioned until I took delivery and was informed that in order to register the purchase I would have to go to my town hall and pay out another 2.4% of the purchase price. Had I had all of that information in hand for consideration at the point of sale it may have affected the outcome of that decision. I don’t believe that it was intentional due to lack of time on the job of my sales person. This should absolutely be used as a model for change moving forward and some significant gesture to make it up to me should be made. I have refrained from posting anything online to date to give Lee the benefit of the doubt, Ron Stiehl.

I can’t say enough good things about Jake and the entire service experience at Lee Toyota! We recently had a warranty claim on our Highlander, and Jake went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled with care and precision. He kept us updated throughout the process, made sure no detail was overlooked, and treated us like family. The results speak for themselves—our Highlander is absolutely beautiful and running perfectly, with every issue completely resolved. Jake’s professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to making sure the job was done right exceeded all expectations. It’s rare to find someone who takes this much pride in their work, and we are so grateful for his help. If you want your vehicle taken care of the right way, Jake at Lee Toyota is the person you can trust!

From the triage telephone representative who is the first face for Lee Toyota to the payment end for service, our experience has been incredible. Everyone is professional, polite, knowledgeable, communicative and genuinely cares. Thank you for washing the inside and outside of my car after the undercoating. This was so unexpected and so needed. It took a big concern off of my plate due to time and the fact we just moved here and are new to Maine. Lee Toyota of Topsham is HIGHLY reommended by me. Thank you for all you do!

Had an appt for 0730 am. Dropped the car off at 0720 cause there was no one in sight. Called at noon after not haven’t any update and told they take drop offs at the end of the day. It appears nobody even checked to see if I had a scheduled appt even though my car was first to the door. After calling and stating I would like my car asap, it took approx 1.5 hours after the initial 5 hr waiting period.

I bought my vehicle at Lee Toyota years ago and that was an amazing experience. When I had problems with it this month (resulting from another garage’s work) they fixed everything at no charge since I had already paid so much already. Eric took the time to listen to my actual problems when the other garage did not. They are by very far the best dealer and service department I have ever dealt with, and the most honest. Eric is the best!

(I drive a Lexus GX.) Service department has been a mixed bag for me. I had them cut a key I bought online but it didn't work. The service supervisor claimed I had to purchase the key through them for it to work. I bought another key from the same source and had Lexus in Portland cut it; it works great. Lexus said Toyota cut the first one wrong. Visits for inspections have been smooth and convenient though. Parts guys are knowledgeable and helpful, even with Lexus parts. Sales staff that I've interacted with don't try to shove a new car down your throat. Overall good experience.

I had an emergency with my Highlander and we're from out of town, too. I couldn't get an apartment anywhere in Bath, Me. Lee Toyota gave me a Sept service appointment. That's 2 weeks away. I told them if they could just take a look to see if I can continue drive it or not. They were kindly said " bring it it but can't gaurantee". The bottom-line is they were able to squeeze me in and I got it back at end of the day! They were friendly, excellent in service and highly recommend Lee Toyota.

This was my 10,000 mile check up. I love the location of Lee Tire in Topsham. While waiting there are nice walking paths at Mt Ararat High School if you are so inclined to take a walk. The service took about 1-1/2 hours. They videotaped what they found during inspection. Just a tire rotation and oil change on this service. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. I would highly recommend Lee’s.

One recent evening, I had the unfortunate experience of being very tired from driving much of the day on little sleep as I was driving an EV from MA to ME round trip. Anyway, I had misjudged the range of this new vehicle and the distance I still had to travel. Having heard that Lee had an EV charger, I went there. Since there was no person in sight, I thought they were closed. But upon a closer look, I saw that the lights inside were on. Their EV charger has a sign that says it is time limited to 30 minutes and it's only for Lee's customers. Like I said, there wasn't any motion at all at the dealership and both my vehicle and myself were running on fumes so I walked into the dealership and saw a man sitting behind a desk. I approached him and explained the situation. I requested that he make an an exception to their EV charging rule. I said I had a card (credit card) and he walked me out to the charger. He then said disparagingly that he'd make an exception. Then, he said it could never happen again as if he were scolding a six year old. Since it's been more decades than I'd like to admit since I was six, I was offended and somewhat shocked at his rudeness so I just told him to forget it. I thought I'd rather have the vehicle towed than to let that individual treat me that way. That individual waa trying to kick me as I was down, so to speak. Anyway, needless to say I wouldn't ever have anything to do with that place. How Lee could employ anyone with such poor public relations skills is beyond me.
