I am sending this because I received an e-mail to solicit feedback. The sales person (Steve) was GREAT- low pressure, responsive, clear communicator. The finance team was not so great- saying that things would be done and then being out of the office without handing them off, lots of inquiry into personal finance that seemed unnecessary. This extended the buying process significantly because of a title that was completed incorrectly and delays in modifying this. Unfortunately, I have already been in for service- ran over a stone or something in the road 3 days after purchasing the vehicle. The service experience has been poor- I was told by phone when I called that this would only be covered by road hazard is cord was showing. When I had the tires removed, was told that cord was showing so brought them in. Then was told by Gerry it is only cord in the tread, not in the sidewall. When I brought up the road hazard guarantee he told me I handn’t purchased the tires there (after buying a 39k car less than a week before). He said he would look into what could be done and I have called multiple times and left a message and gotten no response. I just want to get a new tire if it will be covered or buy one if it won’t and I can’t move forward.

I am happy with the Tundra, though have low usage this time of year. This is the second vehicle I have purchased at Lee Topsham. Sam has been my salesman for both and I enjoy dealing with with him. The problem I have is a stainless steel trailer ball was on the truck I traded in and it never got to me Sam tried to get the service dept to remove it for at least a week and it never happened. Sam bought a plated steel ball at his personal expense for me. I prefer the stainless ball as it will never rust. I feel Lee should provide me a stainless ball and refund Sam. I will return the ball he bought.

I wish the sales dept could be a little more pro-active in providing help in figuring out how to work the features on the dashboard - e.g., how to work the radio, how to get an odometer and gas mileage reading, the cruise control and lane assist. I guess we need to make an appmnt for such a tutorial.

My issue is a $30/mo lease increase when we came in to pick up the new Sienna, lease rate was previously negotiated at $450/mo with Dylan, yet was increased by the $30 at last minute, I want to sit with someone to see the numbers that support the price increase. I will be available to come in on Thursday the 12th. The increase was never explained ?

Pay attention to the alignment of the dealer decal on a vehicles. Mine was at rotated 15 degrees and looks terrible. It’s a small detail and complaint, but super easy to get right and fix. If you can’t take the time to get that right how do you expect me to trust you with the rest of the vehicle?

I love my new Tacoma, but have 2 problems. 1. The remote start was working but stopped for both the APP and the clicks of the FOB. 2. Using IPHONE through Bluetooth the radio does not silence and the Volume on the Played text messages is inaudible.

Our wonderful salesman, Curtis, tried every way he could to connect a second phone/profile to our Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid and was unable to do so. I have tried as well, using instructions and guidance. No luck. This is supposed to be a feature of this car and I am often the one who is driving it even though it is technically my husband's car. I really need to get this done. I have talked with your service department about setting up an appointment and they said to just stop by. I will do my best to carve out the time. Also.....the learning curve for the electronics on this car has been very challenging. We are slowly, but surely, getting through it.

We just bought out our lease from Lee of a Toyota Venza. Best car we've ever owned. It's our fourth car with them. They've been great to deal with, straight forward, friendly. I never felt like I was being 'sold,' but just given the info I needed for a decision.

I was recovering from Covid and it was just to much! I have gone back with a rust problem and Joe Day and Jon Newland are in the process of taking care of it. This is the second car I’ve bought from Lee and Joe Day and am very pleased with both purchases. I feel like I have bought 2 safe, affordable vehicles that will be great for this time in my life. Good Morning- FYI I did leave an extremely positive review on Google for my buying experience. However, that was before being extremely disappointed with my experience on getting the rack for my new Land Cruiser. We basically built out a 1958 Edition and added several options to get what we wanted. We upgraded tires, added step rails, converted the cloth interior to leather. The crowning piece was adding the roof rack that comes on the Limited Edition Land Cruiser. We were told a week, then two to three weeks now end of September. This is 100% unacceptable. I purchased the tires separately but rolled all other options into the vehicle. If I had any idea that the rack would take MONTHS to receive, I would have waited to purchase it when it came in. I certainly would not have agreed to make interest payments on an item that I don’t even have and your parts department can’t tell me when I will have it at this point. The first time I was told that there was a waiting list of over 480 racks that was about three weeks ago. Last week that number has not changed. I do understand supply chain issues. You guys sold me the vehicle promising no more than a couple of weeks. My main issue is making interest payments on an item I don’t even have! Not good! Not okay…. Been doing business with you guys since 2017 and still have my Tacoma I bought there. I need my rack AND some sort of compensation for not having a very expensive component on my vehicle that I am making interest payments on. I also should be prioritized on getting the first one to hit our shores due to this fact. Again if I knew I would need to wait this long I would have waited to purchase and not rolled in to the financing. I am VERY FRUSTRATED and UNHAPPY that I was lead to believe I would have this option “in a couple weeks at the most”

I noticed just yesterday, the vinyl or plastic covering over the body sidewall is loose. I don't know how this is secured to the metal sidewall. I would like to bring it by on one of my trips from Waldoboro to Portland, and have someone take a look. Otherwise I am enjoying my new Tacoma very much. Thank you

I appreciate that you don't do a lot of sales to MA residents, but getting the car registered in MA seemed a lot harder than it needed to be. I started having to call twice a day to get information so communication could be improved. I also suggest improving your digital forms. It seemed like much of what we needed to do could have been done via digital signatures. I appreciate how hard Mitchell worked to get it all done, but I didn't feel like he had good support to make it happen smoothly.

In April we returned our Rav4 on a lease. Decided to buy it. Lee reps told us they had to buy it out and resell it to us. The 30,000 mile service was do as was the state inspection. When we got to the dealership the car was taken into the service area to be inspected as part of the lease return. Nobody told us that they were going to do a state inspection but it was done at no charge {thank you} but was not ever offered a 30,000 mile service at my expense. But if as the original rep said that Lee had to buy out the lease and sell the car to me why would the 30,000 mile service not be done by the dealer? As most used cars sold by the dealer would be assumed to be serviced. As a nit picky point, whomever replaced the inspection sticker did not clean the area around where the old sticker was and the new one did not stick all that well. At the end of the transcaction it was not clear where the car keys were.

I recently bought a 2024 Toyota Corolla Hatchback from Lee Toyota in Topsham, and I was blown away by how hard the sales team worked to get me the exact car I wanted, when I wanted it. The sales agent I worked with most directly hovered over a constantly changing online spreadsheet showing which cars with what features were available at which Maine dealers and how quickly each of those vehicles could be delivered to Topsham. When it came to negotiating the details of the purchase, the person I worked with was friendly, professional, willing to go the extra mile to give me what I wanted. And in the weeks since I brought the car home, my own agent and others on the sales team have been more than patient as I've struggled to learn the car's onboard technology, which is light years beyond what my previous 2016 car had. All in all, I am thrilled with my new car--and so glad I bought it from the Lee dealership in Topham!

I am very pleased with my Prius hybrid but two things about the purchasing process were disappointing. The first thing was the “dox” fee of $600 which inflated the price of the car. The second issue is that the car lacked a functioning windshield washer fluid tank and I used the car for a long distance highway trip without knowing that. When I brought the car in for service the service manager’s took no responsibility and offered no apology or immediate solution. The part was back ordered but the service department at Charlie’s in Augusta said I could bring it in and they would rig something up until the part came in. I bought the car at Lee in Topsham purposely expecting to be treated with respect and valued as a customer. I didn’t expect to play games with the price or the service department.

Worse experience purchasing a car I have ever had, and I have used Lee many times in past and been quite happy. Saying this here as I have tried speaking to several people about my poor experience (as happened over course of a couple months and several different people as was buying out my lease) with no improvement. Repeatedly not given accurate information and not provided simple assistance that I should have received. Will not buy from Lee again.

I would be more than happy to speak with you about my horrendous experience purchasing my RAV4. I have purchased a lot of cars in my lifetime, and never had an experience quite like this one. None of what you claim in your emails and marketing material reflects my experience and I have repeatedly shared these concerns with employees with no real response. I was repeatedly given inaccurate information, offered minimal assistance and no one seemed to care, including the manager (Mike) at Topsham. Since it was a mess from the get go, it does not connect back to one person, but seemed to be a systemic issue with how the dealership was run and a lack of education/training. It was a totally different experience than the one I had when I first leased my vehicle in Jan. 2021. I currently do not plan on ever doing business with Lee again. This despite the fact we have several Lee vehicles at the agency I run, and my son has a Nissan from Lee. I will own my patience was gone on the Friday i came in to sign documents.. So when I arrived to find the person I was told I had an appointment with was off, and there did not seem to be any awareness I was coming or any prep work done it was the last straw. I was not pleasant or happy and I do apologize for my attitude. But given it had been one mess up after another, for the last three month, I was incredibly angry and wished I had chosen to go elsewhere. In fact if it had been a new car deal I would have walked out. Feel free to call me if you would like to hear more, 207-751-1780. But given total lack of response to my concerns I do not expect much at this point.

I needed to upgrade my vehicle, and Clementine listened to every word I said was necessary for my needs. Let's face it, buying a new vehicle can make your head spin. Clementine made the entire process as seamless as possible. I love my new Rav4, but I have to say it was Clementine that convinced me that I was doing the right thing. I also want to give a shout out to the gentlemen that worked with me on the paperwork and financial portion of the sale. Everything was explained in detail, and I felt I was in control of the entire transaction. Well done again Lee Toyota!

I am writing about our experience at Lee Toyota, my wife and I just purchased a Sienna December 1st. We had a great experience for 6 weeks, from putting the deposit down right up until we walked in the Finance Managers office, his name was Will. Unfortunately, Will was pushy and rude. When I said I didn’t want to purchase an extended warranty or service plan, he tried to push for them and accused me of being aggressive. I said I didn’t want them again and he actually referenced that we were paying cash so maybe we didn’t have to worry about it, but most people do. This gave me a pit in my stomach and just didn’t feel good. We have saved for years to enable us to pay for this car and he was questioning that. He also multiple times said “I wouldn’t let anyone buy a car without one of these plans.” He even talked about how the electronic systems would not last (not a very good perspective on the quality of Toyota vehicles). He was just over the top and rude. Luckily, our salesperson, Evan Feldman, gave us a review of the car's features which was a much better last experience at the dealership. Loved working with Evan, which was 6 weeks of my experience, but the finance manager really brought me down. It was frustrating! I thought that you would want to know about our experience
