    Best car buying experience ever, I’ll never buy anything brand new other than a Subaru

    I was in the market for a pre-owned Subaru Crosstrek. As most people know, purchasing a car is a big investment and is often a big decision that comes with some stress. I was assisted by Brian Emeh every step of the way from when I first walked into the dealership. Mr. Emeh is very patient and knowledgeable and was always responsive when I had any questions. I test drove three of the models I was interested in and finally narrowed it down to the model I wanted (a certified pre-owned Crosstrek, Limited trim). When I was ready, Mr. Emeh made the purchase as easy as it could have been and got me the best price possible. Then, Hyder from financing worked to get me the best interest rate and guided me through all of the necessary paperwork. I received electronic copies of everything before I even left the dealership. My car was filled with gas and beautifully detailed when I left. I am extremely happy with my experience and for the outstanding customer service provided by Mr. Emeh, and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Subaru in the Houston area.

    Edit: Called on 8/12/24 (as the "Response from the owner" advised below) and talked with one of the associates. Was told I would receive a call back. After nearly two weeks, I have yet to hear from them. I did however discover today that when the techs worked on my car they detached a plastic panel under my steering wheel and did not resecure it properly. With the way they left it secured and returned it to me it was falling and COVERING MY BRAKE PEDAL.Broke large plastic part under the hood and did not tell me.Told me they were not able to reproduce a problem; however, they also did not follow the steps I outlined for them to reproduce the problem. The steps simply involved turning off the vehicle for 10 minutes and then trying to unlock the doors. Told me they would try again the next day instead.Misdiagnosed a missing fuse as a bad battery. The car was having an electrical issue and the technician never thought to check if the fuse was good (or existed).Told me part of my issue was related to the type of battery I had installed in a car that has auto start stop. I told them my car did not have that feature, but they insisted it did. I later verified that that feature was not offered on the outback until the model year after mine.In summary, they tried to hide damage they did to my car, did not listen to me on the problem the vehicle was brought in for, failed at simple troubleshooting of an electrical issue, and not knowledgeable of Subaru Outbacks.
